Good for him...could you imagine the outrage if this were a USC player?

I suppose that people are willing to give Chip Kelly the benefit of the doubt because the suspended Blount immediately and didn’t bring him back for SC (just as well for us, really) or Stanford. And he should get the benefit of the doubt.
Mind you, I thought the full season suspension was a bit much anyway, but that’s just me.
"Just Sayin'" comment = football truism. . . . .
. . . .if there ever is one!
You see it in the Jarrett-Leinart housing issue, WJustice fake gun thingy, Rey-Rey freshman police-owning business, BushGate, MayoGate, and I can go on and on regarding something inconsequential, dubious, false, or true-but-too-serious that the “Anti-Trojan-Bus-For-The-Blind,-Stupid,-Hateful” like throw in our faces!
Case in point, and- granted, it’s about the subjective placing of #12 for the USC Trojans in most everybody’s current blog-poll. Ok, so I get it! We laid a major egg in Autzen- and got out-muscled, out-coached, and out-schemed. The Ducks EARNED that win- no two ways around it. And yeah, the Huskies pulled one outta their asses to beat us at our own game in Montlake- and. . . .they just lost to fUcla? GFF? (go fucking figure?). But still:
No way no more than 9 teams before us in those blog polls beat us next weekend!
And to conclude, Bush- & Mayo-Gate still unresolved? So what, got one word for that: “legality” It’s not that simple, I know. . . .but it is THAT DEEP! “Legality” on many levels- from a “time/date” standpoint, semantics of code/bylaw perspective, identifying the “real” victims, accusers, and individuals, as well as enforcement- and evidentiary-related problems that obviously exist yet can’t be resolved at ANY POINT in these investigations. If that was CJ and not LeGarrett, THIS BLOG WOULD CRASH HARD due to the user-backlash.

Can anyone explain to me
why Blount’s sucker punch should be punished more than Brandon Spkes’ eye gouging?

UCLA fans would be going nuts if good ole Petey let one of his players back after a similar Blount punch.
Also, the eye gouging is way worse. Obviously the punch has an intent to cause bodily harm but eye gouging is taking it to another level. Less dramatic but would definitely cause more harm.
