IIRC McNown got chewed out by Toledo and after the game, Toledo denied that this was a designed play. Carroll was cheering this play on the sidelines. It was a BS thing for Cade to do. but ultimately only an example of an individual player’s lack of class. I think the fact that Cade went on to be a total failure at the next level was good enough revenge, although if that’s not good enough, your sense of outrage toward the Bruins being directed toward the program as opposed to just Cade McNown, you can always point to the fact that USC has won 10 of the next 11 games in the series as pretty good revenge, too,
