Sometime around 11 p.m. that night, Neuheisel let the cat out of the bag. He really believes the monopoly is history.
Don't believe it? He said so himself.
Neuheisel told fans he hoped they would say this after Saturday's rivalry game: "I was there in 2009 in the Coliseum when the Bruins took on the Trojans and turned this whole city around and found a way to capture L.A. and take back what's ours."
The crowd roared.
UCLA coach Neuheisel monopolizes L.A.
Yeah...well, he has to win first. Yes USC is down right now but ucla has a ways to go before they are relevant...We have seen this before. IF ucla were to win tomorrow it is only one win and as I have a million time before......one win does not a season make.

again?
i’m geting tired of neuheisel talking trash every year. even if they win one game, i’d hardly say that means they “own” LA, though i don’t think they will win despite USC’s struggles. to own LA means winning over usc consistently for a three or four years and winning most of the recruiting battles. until that happens, mr. neuheisel should stop talking about owning LA until after he does something, which may never happen.

a season made
One win does a season make if your previous season had none, and last season we might as well not have had one.

Well it looks as though he feels his team will win, for that dude to say that he has to know for sure.
But he is a gambler and they will say anything to get their way, they are like your local junkie. The problem with having a guy like that as your coach, one you will wake up fined him not there and all he will leave you with is a loan. I have no respect for this guy and it is not for his latest attitude, but the way he has ruined 2 FB programs that still haven’t recovered fully.
Some day he will pay for his deeds and will have nothing!
The truth is Lavin was an Okay coach but I liked him because Bibby was beating him. I have known Ben since 1978 and when he got to Ugla I knew it was going to be a battle in BB. But know we got Kevin and I think he is better than my friend, and after 3 years we will know. GO Trojans
