An Outsider's Take on the USC Trojans

Hey guys. I am someone who has always admired Coach Carroll's program from a distance and rooted for USC.

Over the last couple days, I've been shocked at the media's turn on the Trojans in light of their loss to Stanford.

Anyway, I wrote a column called "Defending Pete Carroll and the USC Trojans," because I don't think enough people really respect and appreciate everything this man has done, and how much he has overcome this year.

I hope you all will read and give honest feedback, whether you agree or disagree.

Great column Aaron, can’t believe no one else on this site has commented. You made me step back and dial down my fear a couple notches. Wow, we really have been hit with a freaking sledgehammer this year with the draft and attrition and injury. The sun will rise again. Thanks for the objective analysis, you did an awesome job.
