ESPN: Sanchez likely gone

Sources close to Mark Sanchez and USC tell ESPN's Chris Mortensen that the quarterback plans to announce Thursday that he will forgo his senior season to enter the NFL draft.
FWIW I still think he is coming back, but if he doesn't then I understand. He's gotta be a higher rated prospect than schmucks like Stafford and the draft is pretty thin on QBs, (albeit it also seems thin on teams that would take a QB in round 1). I'd expect Sanchez to be a first day guy, but possibly on in the early third round/late second round and probably one of the first 3 QBs taken.
