New Blog: Backing the Pack for NC State Fans!

BlogPoll Ballot ending week #5 (Draft)

OK this is a very early draft. The question is where to rank USC, UGA and UF? I outlined my thoughts earlier but I am looking for your input. I am not completely sold on PSU they have only played 2 quality opponents and have only been on the road once.

I was thoroughly impressed with Alabama which is why I bumped them to #2.

Texas looked solid with their dominaation of the piggies but their tests are in the weeks ahead. I am a little meh on LSU but they did win at home against MSU who gave them fits all night. I moved up Texas Tech and BYU, who were both on bye weeks simply because I had to drop USC, UGA and UF for their losses but I wasn't dropping them that far.

The rest... it is what it is.

Fire away!

Few suggestions

South Florida should be higher than Auburn and may be tOSU. They beat few decent teams inluding Kansas and dominated NCSU last night. Auburn’s offense is very bad. I watched the 2nd half of UT – Aub game, it was very painful.

I think Boise is better than Fresno and they beat ranked Oregon in Eugene

You should drop WF out of the top 25. Losing to Navy is unexcusable. You can replace it with Northwestern or Ball State (which beat Navy :) )

Consider replacing UNC with VT which beat the Tarheels in Chaptel Hill.

Fresno was not impressive on Saturday

They let the bruins run all over them. With Wisconsin showing that they are not as good as advertised, it remains to be seen just how good Fresno is. If ucla doesn’t fumble the ball on the 10 yard line, then there might have been a different game.
