Pac-10 Intersectional Meltdown?

Holy hell! Cal loses to Maryland, 37 - 25. Stanford lost to TCU, 14 - 31. Washington State lost to Baylor, 17 - 45.

With less than 10 to go in the first half, Oregon is down 3 - 20 to Purdue (!), Oregon State is down tied 0 7 - 7 to Hawaii, and UCLA is down 0 - 28 35 to BYU (!!!)

With Washington "playing" Oklahoma later, it looks like it's up to Arizona State (against UNLV), Arizona (against New Mexico), and USC to post any intersectional wins today.

This is why I get all nervous about supporting the conference in intersectional games. I hope to hell that SC does a bit better than this against Ohio State, because otherwise we'll never hear the end of it.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Conquest Chronicles' writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Conquest Chronicles' writers or editors.

that's

their problem for hiring Rick Neuheisel. The guy was a snake at Colorado.

They’ll find this out in a couple years. He hasn’t stopped being arrogant, and pulling the same stupid stuff, he’ll fall back into his own trap sooner or later.

Nice to see you are blessed with clairvoyance

in predicting what RN will be like in a coule of years. Any chance that maybe the guy learned something from his admitted mistakes? I think you’d be smarter waiting to see what happens in Westwood rather than congratulating yourself after a one-game debacle. Or were you saying this stuff after UCLA knocked off Tennessee two weeks ago?

As much fun as we Bruins had after the Tennessee game, most UCLA fans knew we were in for a tough season, given our problems on th O line, the loss of so many starters and the level of the returning talent. While I think most UCLA fans (including me) may have thought we would do better than predicted because of the coaching, I am on record as saying that 6-6 would be a good result given what we have to work with. While I didn’t expect to get our a**** kicked like we did today, which was a total team collapse in which everyone shares the blame, I still think we have good coaches. The jury has barely been picked to judge RN at UCLA-and you’re convicting him before opening statements. Back off there, cowboy.

Good luck with your climb back from the Callahan era.

Is that you Jesus?

Oh wait, it’s the holier-than-thou attitudes of Bruins from BN. Sometimes I wish that you fellers at BN would practice what you preach and rid yourselves of the continuing “rap” sheet of USC, the program, and its players you so loyally care for.

But of course you won’t. Every chance you get, you’ll add what you can just to show how squeaky clean UCLA is compared to the dirty and seedy USC.

Easy...

DJ is one of the few Bruin fans that come over here and show some respect. I’m cool with his partisanship towards his alma mater. He has never been one to call SC out in the way they do on BN either here on CC or on BN.

Trust me DJ is hardly one of Nestor’s boys over there at BN who would rant and rave about SC being a less than stellar program. Lets try to be bigger than those clowns over there and and be good hosts towards our guests.

Lets be cool…DJ has more than “earned his bones” as a decent participant here on CC.

Gotcha

I’ll take your word for it, given that I’m relatively new around these parks.

However, reading some of their blogs makes me nod my head and wonder just how much energy do they spend trashing us.

Apologies DJ!

hey thanks!

appreciate the “thoughtful” take, which in no way addresses anything I raised in my post. The only thing I said was that it was a little too early to be writing RN off as a crapweasel based on events that happened at minimum some five years ago. I could make some snarky comment about your reading comprehension skills, but I’ll let the evidence speak for itself…

I don't think he is a crap weasel

Only an idiot would criticize the coaching staff of the bruins considering the vast amount of injuries that they have suffered especially on the offensive side of the ball.

Sorry for bringing the whole BN thing up.
