The Coliseum is gonna be ROCKIN'!

Can there possibly be any more hype for our upcoming game against the storied Ohio State University football team this Saturday night? It's been a terrific game week, what with all the talking heads, blogger bums, former players, and ANALYSTS dissecting each and every angle of hairstyle, quantifying "speed and tempo" in sports-speak as if they've got a compulsion for bad poetry, and the unconscious notions of a USC blowout. I've said it before, I'll say it again. I liked it better when we were "overated"and the undergods in this match up. (you know, I just proof-read this fanpost and decided "undergods" sounds so much better than "underdogs". . . so- I'm leaving it. Sue me.)

Anyway. . . . remember the big brouh-hah-hah we had over the Coliseum issues this past winter/spring 2008? Well now that calmer heads have prevailed from that impasse, (I'm lookin' at you Bernard C !) it seems a good number of renovations have taken place just in time for our upcoming (1st HOME GAME TOO) game this Saturday September 13, at 5:00 in the early evening! Wait until some of the Ohio fans see our historic stadium at night! I can't wait to see and hear our stadium Saturday night !!!

From Rivals.com,  "The sound and video are the big things. I think it’s going to really be noticed. I’m really pleased; everybody’s pretty proud of what we did in such a short time.

"It’s a coming out party. We’re over there tweaking the sound right now."

Lynch said $4 million was spent on the makeover. (as quoted from Pat Lynch, LA Coliseum general manager)

Read this and see what's in store for Buckeye and Trojan fans alike at LA Coliseum this Saturday night!

Fight On!

(and a hearty welcome to Los Angeles for all of those traveling in from the great state of Ohio!)
