Some interesting numbers from Dan Weber at the Press-Enterprise
By the Numbers
Allen Bradford, Wright's former teammate at Colton, had nine carries for 41 yards and a 2-yard TD, after getting just 28 carries in his first two seasons.
USC's 558 yards were the most in a regular-season game since gaining 679 on Dec. 9, 2005, in a 66-19 win against UCLA. They were the most given up by Virginia in 35 games, with USC's four rushing TDs the most the Cavs have given up in the past 21 games. And that was the third-highest total given up by an Al Groh-coached Virginia team since 2001.
It was the Cavaliers' worst loss since a 58-10 pasting by South Carolina in 1987 and their worst home loss since '84, when Clemson embarrassed them 55-0 in the season-opener.
In winning its 11th straight opener, USC scored at least 38 points for the fourth time in a row. USC improved its record in opening games to 85-23-8 and 27-7-1 in road openers.
USC updated its all-time itinerary to 34 states, with the first trip by any Pac-10 team to Charlottesville.
Just a "nice to know".
