USC recruit Nick Perry did not pass a required test this week, which sets back his chance of being admitted to school. Perry is not officially disqualified because he still has another opportunity to pass and can be certified by the NCAA Clearinghouse until Sept. 15.

Perry Falters. I know he had some family issues but jeez how hard can it be to make the grades...

Damn!

Nickster has got to hit the books, as well as hit the practice field, AND kick some serious ass in the coming weeks. Man o man, I’d hate to see him fall by the wayside. Didn’t we have another lineman from the Twin Cities not make it as a freshman, than somehow come back to us after a year or two. He was this badass O-lineman I think, incoming class 2004? Will something I think?
