How about DUUUUUUHHHHH!!

That the Bush legal team played this card so late in the process  really says a lot to me. I can understand about not settling on principal but to continually try to bob and weave through these proceedings only hurts Bush's already tarnished image. If you think its extortion then lets get it on and get the depo's going and get it all out.

Lake has claimed there was no lease until Bush and USC officials grew worried about an NCAA probe. But he can offer little proof of USC's knowledge.

While its pretty clear to the more reasonable part of the USC fan base that Reggie took the money, I find it incredible that NOTHING has come to light that USC knew anything about this...here's a thought, maybe they just didn't know!!

Regardless of how long this takes and how much becomes public unless there is some big bad smoking gun out there I see SC's exposure as pretty limited. The NCCA can essentially do what they want but if the punishment doesn't fit the crime you can bet that SC will mobilize and take the NCAA on.

That Bush has let SC's name get dragged through the mud on a regular basis instead of taking this head on to prove that this nothing more than a simple extrotion case tells me all I need to know...
