Scrimmage Last Night
Bumped...always great to see. Paragon
I never get tired of this view
Warmups
Scott Wolf pretty much said it all over on his blog. The offense needs work. All the QBs threw interceptions, with Mustain throwing his on the first pass of the scrimmage. Sharice Wright returned the INT for a touchdown to start things off for the first string defense.
USC security was tight. They were checking peoples IDs before they would let us into the Coliseum. No doubt they were looking for
The running game did really well with Bradford showing signs of being a power running back, and Stafon Johnson doing a little bit of everything on his carries. Its hard to choose which running back had the best day, because they are all so different. Gable, Bradford, Johnson, and McKnight all did some impressive things.
The quarterbacks, and receivers looked sluggish. Travon Patterson caught a touchdown from Mustain, and Garret Green threw a long one to Jimmy Miller.
The defense looks solid. There were some hard hits out there and we had one casualty. Cary Harris absorbed a hard hit by Allan Bradford and immediately fell to a knee. His right arm appeared to be popped out at the shoulder. The LA times is saying that it is a shoulder sprain, and I hope thats all it was. Here is a picture of the trainers working on Cary.
Cary Harris down
Sanchez spent the beginning of the scrimmage doing a little bit of rehab with a bungie cord attached to him. This probably is being used to test the amount of force he can put on his knee. Here is that photo
Sanchez rehabbing or bungie jumping
He threw some balls after that. He didn't seem to have much trouble throwing some bullet passes, and some rainbow fades.
Anyone that wants to look at the videos and other pictures heres the link for the album.

Awesome pics frak!
Keep up the good work bro! These are just excellent pics. So, in your words- how did the O-line hold up to our vaunted D- ends and tackles?
And Corp? Looks to me he’s on the right way to a 1st team. Ohhhh! I can’t wait for that Virginia game. Can’t wait!
Thanks for the pics and update. Just awesome.

O-line did OK
I was watching Matt Kalil a lot. Man that guy is huge. He should be playing LT but they had him at LG that day.

Good to know
I’m so retarded. I’ve already gotten Matt and Ryan mixed up. Seriously, I gotta lay off the beer this year. I really do. I’m not joking. How can I possibly forget that Ryan played all those years for us and that his little brother- who hasn’t played a DOWN is named Matt? Geeze louise!
I’m giddy as all get out with all these insanely talented and “prepared” freshmen. I haven’t heard this much praise about an incoming class since Reggie’s.
Fight On!

Missed it... had to go to work
Matt Kalil is not Ryan’s little brother. He is his younger brother. Matt makes Ryan look tiny.
