I was. . . .

Having lunch at Ford’s Filling Station in Culver City, CA. It took place about a quarter to 12 PM. It was just a wavy-like quake, kinda made you do “the twist” (dance) but it wasn’t anything to write home about. I’ve lived through monstrous quakes (my parent’s house in Los Gatos is only 1.7 miles away from the epicenter of the Loma Prieta Earthquake from 1988. Now THAT was a quake!

in TX. didn’t feel a thing, except for the scorching heat today. but, the story makes me fondly recally my SC days, and the Whittier quake of 1987. they cancelled classes that fall day. Rodney threw a controversial TD pass to Affholter to upset UCLA and take us to the Rose Bowl in my most exciting moment ever at an SC football game. it was our first of 3 straight Rose Bowls. anything below a 6x on the Richter scale, unless your right on top of it, only scares the amateurs.

Thanks a bunch DFWTrojan! That must’ve been some game, it sure started some streak- fo sho! (you’re right on the grand Richter scale-of-things)

Fight On!

I was at home/

The quake wasn’t all that big. The media hyped it up this afternoon.

At work on campus

We all laughed at the girl who was worried about it because we LA veterans knew how small it was.
