Slick Rick’s Delicate Sensibilities
Funny story over on Wolf’s Blog
A recruit said Monday that UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel is alerting recruits to this USC walk-on tryout video and emphasizing the amount of profanity used as a negative characteristic.
Sure Rick you have never dropped an F-bomb in practice. Negative characteristic? Maybe if you used a few more F-bombs and kicked a little ass your players wouldn’t have “gone over the wall” and blown a practice off.
Yes, this is negative recruiting and everyone does it, but couldn’t you have used something more emphatic? I mean come on, the F-word as a negative characteristic?
Riiiiight…

Ok lets look at this
Its ok to rape an 18 year old virgin, and then drive through an old folks home, but for god’s sake don’t use profanity while you do it.

LMAO
Which one is a better statement to win over a recruit:
Brandon Carroll: I coach TE’s at USC where Fred Davis won the Mackey award last year and was drafted in the 2nd round
Weasel: Looook! They curse during practice!!!! Thugs!!!

Obviously
No one has a tape of Coach Ruel. Its also a good thing that no one has a tape of Coach Orgeron. If you want a true example of how to drop F-bombs in practice, those two guys are the grand masters.

Practice? Practice?
You’re showing tape of practice?
Why bother, when there’s perfectly good video of Pete Carroll dropping the f-bomb on tv during an actual game.
Challenge the challenge my ass, Bellotti.

Delicate wilting blossoms
Perhaps the actual reason that Neuheisel was trying to keep Husky football players away from “real” classes during his tenure is that he was worried they might read the Canterbury Tales and pick up filth like this:
But sooth to seyn, he was somdeel squaymous
Of fartyng, and of speche daungerous.
Afraid of farting and dangerous speech… apparently that’s a fairly accurate description of Neuheisel.

Maybe if the Westwood High Matrons League dropped a few f-bombs...
they wouldn’t have players giving the program their own F-U by climbing over walls to skip practice.

Makes me laugh
Brennan Carroll coached quite a few talented tight ends, and our bruin buddies like to overlook that.
