'SC officially Clinches Lexus Gauntlet [UPDATE]

Lots of people say they don't care about it, but I do, and I'm glad we finally won it after building up a seemingly insurmountable lead early in the year.  Although the bruins kept chipping away at it, we held serve and, short of losing men's and women's track, women's rowing (we've never lost to them since the gauntlet was founded), AND playing them in men's baseball in the postseason (very low probability), we've got it back at USC.

Congrats to a great year for USC athletes and athletics!!!

Clinched or not?
Based on your post, I'm not sure.

although there is still a minute chance of losing
that's reliant on our baseball team making the postseason.  And as much as I hate to say it, that doesn't look likely.

Women of Troy outrun Lady Bruins in track today!
Finally!

We beat Coach Bolden (Bruin women's track coach)- after something like 15 tries!!!! (that's a friggin damn good track record, pun intended)

But you gotta tip your hat to our women's team. They smoked 'em. Way to go LADIES! You've made us all proud. Congrats to any and all of you who's times have qualified for nationals. I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of all of you! All ya'll earned it the hard way- through a very talented and well-coached UCLA women's team. This is just bananas!

Hey USCLink, heard that our band . . .
. . .was out in San Pedro (10 members), because the rowing competition was considered "home" or "neutral"? (not sure), but alas- the punks over in Wastewood couldn't stop us from bringing them.

Fight On!
