Orgeron said USC should not be worried about players who might reject the talent-rich Trojans because of fear of competition or the promise of immediate playing time at another program.
"We raised the bar and went after kids that saw that they could play there and would want to compete – that was part of the evaluation," Orgeron said by phone last week.

i agree with coach Orgeron, those who d commit don’t believe they have the skills to compete at USC. SC has put 42 players in the pros the last 7 years, why would anyone not want to compete at SC. the guys at SC who don’t start or play much still get drafted and can play in the NFL. Carroll is a NFL coach and knows what the pros are looking for, PLAYERS WHO CAN AND WILL COMPETE ALL DAY LONG.
