John Morton Officially the New OC
Bumped...Great news for Coach Morton...we will see how it all plays out - Paragon
per the LATimes:
John Morton, USC's receivers coach the last two seasons, has been promoted to offensive coordinator, though it has not yet been determined if he will call plays, Coach Pete Carroll announced today.
Morton, 39, succeeds Steve Sarkisian, who became Washington's head coach last Saturday. Sarkisian, however, is scheduled to remain with the Trojans through their Jan. 1 Rose Bowl game against Penn State.
At the bottom they also mention that Carroll would like to bring Carl Smith back in as the new QB coach. The real question now is how soon will fans become disgruntled with his play calling and begin asking for Norm Chow back? Also, you can take a look at Morton's past coaching experience here.
