GameDay Open Thread USC vs. Seton Hall
USC Trojans @ Seton Hall Pirates

So, USC plays Seton Hall tonight in the Puerto Rican Shoot-out Tip-Off.
Here is the game preview from ESPN. Here is the kicker...I know next to nothing about Seton Hall but I know the team Doc. I have just been too busy to get in touch with him about his take on the team.
Tip Off is set for 7PM EST. I am not sure if the game is on regular TV. It's on ESPN U which I don't have (Thanks ComCast) but you never know.
Leave your comments questions or rants here. I will be online but I am not sure if it will be effective with seeing or hearing the game.
FIGHT ON!

I hate watching the Box Score
At least it seems like SC is finally starting to pull away. Nice to see Donte hitting those threes, Hackett piling up the assists, and Taj doing his thing on the inside (and by see I mean watch numbers in the box score). Come on though, Lewis and Hackett really need to ste up their shooting.

Finished the half 2-7
but 4-6 from the line, at least he’s getting it done. Wonder what the context of the 4 missed 3s was.

1st year players making an impact...
But not the ones you would expect. Leonard Washington has 7 points, 5 rebounds, and a block while Donte Smith has 9 points on 3/4 shooting from beyond the arc. Demar Derozan only has 3 points and 3 boards to go with a block as well. Still, a nice showing for the group.
43-28 at the half. Hopefully the Trojans can open up this game and build some momentum for tomorrow night against Memphis.

Haha, yeah. It was a bad night for LA schools.
I would think that our loss stings a bit more? That coach at Michigan seems to have Coach Howland’s number. :-(

Well I saw game on espn
They played great in first half, then as in the last game with NMS they stopped working ball to Taj. The outside shooting is not coming along a lot of indecision when to shoot or pass, hope it will get better. Washington was all over the place on defense as was Simmons, and they played alright on offense.
Daniel is in some kind of funk, I think it’s the small guards that have him upset about not getting foul calls. Lewis has been inconsistent the last two games and DeRozan is not doing well with offensive style my have been a mistake. As soon as Marcus Johnson is playing it will help with outside offense.
If Tim would have put in Kasey and given Percy Miller a shot he would have bothered the small gauds on dee and there press. The impressive thing about Seton Hall is that their coach suspended to their top forwards, so they only had seven players but they didn’t stop trying.
They should have won this game going away, I hope they make adjustments. When they are playing good they look great, but when they fall off is a long way. Hubert Davis on espn gave mad props to this team about being more of a team than last year. HE also stated that he felt that SC was best team in Pac-10. So if they can find away to incorporate Demar and get shooting going they could do some damaged.
