USC wants to chat with Lloyd Lake

USC officials have asked to interview sports marketer Lloyd Lake as part of the university’s probe into allegations that Lake provided Trojan Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush (right) and his family nearly $300,000 in cash and gifts in violation of NCAA rules.

In an Oct. 27 letter to Lake’s attorneys, USC officials requested interviews with Lake, his mother and sister, Lake’s attorneys said Friday.

“We’re not going to comment further, other to say we are considering our options,” Paul W. Wong, a Lake attorney, said of the USC request.

You would think they would have asked to speak with Lake when this all broke.
