No surprise here, we wish him luck.
A couple of interesting things though, here is one comment from ESPN that really stands out:Of the Gators, Moody said, "They get their playmakers the ball."
He did get the ball at SC and it was a shame that he got injured during the season. It was also terrible that he was injured in Spring practice, as it limited his exposure. As I said before you can have all the talent in the world doesn't matter if you can't get on the field because you are injured or have a bad attitude. If Moody is so worried about being THE GUY then I understand that he wanted to move on. There is no room for that here. He is a tremendous talent and had he been just a little more patient then it could have worked out. I am sorry to see him go.
I heard Colin Cowherd say today that USC would regret Moody's transfer, he didn't elaborate and I'm not really sure how we will regret it but I found the comment interesting.
Here is Moody's interview on ESPN's College Football Live
I guess I'm not very clear on the whole it was just time to go theme.
More interesting and more important were the comments by Chris Spielman. I think this is a good thing that he puts this out there. Hopefully recruits will see these remarks and really dig down deep about making a commitment of this magnitude.
This chapter is now closed and it is time to move on.
