USC breaks tie with Tufts and North Carolina. - Still at 27

The latest US News and World Report National College Rankings have just been released. Although widely speculated within Southern California, USC did not overtake UCLA in overall ranking. Both UCLA and Michigan are tied for 25th overall in national average (with Michigan taking a dip in the rankings this year).

Because of this tie USC was ranked below both schools at number 27, the same ranking it held last year. However, this time around USC is holding the 27th spot for itself; breaking a tie with Tufts University and the University of North Carolina it had a year before.

Also interesting: I just found at that my current university (Washington U. in St. Louis) is ranked 12th overall in this year's results. Awesome!
