prettiest drive
of the year. Sark scripts the opening drive every game. It worked this time because of great execution.

everything looks god
except special teams and the long ball, which is no big surprise. but things are looking awesome.

i hate complaining about the refs....
....but if you can't flex after a sack, i need to stop watching college football. this isn't the nfl.

I should be a ref.
"Getting within three yards of the quarterback. 10 yard penalty, automatic first down."

refs
look funny in that touchdown signal.  Do the damn job!

I may have to skip the second half
Watched first quarter. Left 2nd t-giving dinner after ASU tied it at 17. Plainly SC is doing better without me watching.

That first drive was splendid.

Lo-jack on fire
Sack and tackle for a loss on 1st 2 plays for ASU

by DC Trojan on Nov 22, 2007 7:17 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

nice catch by Turner
keep some momentum gentlemen!

three's better than nothing I suppose
but they need to do better than that next drive. Can't have too big a cushion against ASU, I think.

I feel bad for Carpenter
If I took a hit from Mauluga while Lo-Jack was tackling me, I'd be crying on the sidelines and refusing to return to the game. That O-line is doing him no favours.

whew
incomplete not backwards. Hope that doesn't get challenged.

McKnight!
to the 25, nice run with a couple of good blocks.

by DC Trojan on Nov 22, 2007 7:33 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Stafon
doing his Washington impression, nice one

by DC Trojan on Nov 22, 2007 7:34 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

liking the kickoffs
Buehler doing a little risk mitigation with the long kickoffs keeping ASU starting at the 20.

by DC Trojan on Nov 22, 2007 7:44 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

another nice defensive series
and decent field position.

On an unrelated note, there are some fine looking ASU coeds in the crowd. Yowza.

DAAAAAAAAAAVIIIIIIIIIIS!!!!!!
ASU learns the hard way that you can't bump-tackle big Fred Davis. Excellent 4th & 2 conversion to the TD.

flippity flop
That ASU WR flopped like an Italian soccer player for the PI call... didn't matter as it turns out.

by DC Trojan on Nov 22, 2007 8:05 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Ouch
nice punt block by ASU. Swine.

by DC Trojan on Nov 22, 2007 8:13 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

keep at it
take it all out on your opponents

by wesbio on Nov 22, 2007 8:14 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

SC can't relax on offense just yet
as that series just proved. I don't know if ASU can score 3 times in 8 minutes, and I don't want to find out.

Go Bruins!
Have to start rooting for our friends over the Ducks.

if I say that...
...it's going to be between clenched teeth.

that was a really good game
Solid, largely free of mistakes, huge effort by the defense. A good base for the game against UCLA in 10 days or so.

can't wait to see scott wolf
grade this game...

then again, there were a MILLION penalties.
